Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
SoccerPath is operated by Empire Soccer Inc, a Delaware corporation located at 1101 Brickell Ave, South Tower, 8th floor, Miami, FL 33131, United States ("SoccerPath", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle information when you use soccerpath.us, its sub-pages (including team pages), our emails, and the SoccerPath apps for iOS and Android (together, the "Service").
The Service is offered to people in the United States and its information is stored in the United States.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
| When you… | We collect |
|---|---|
| Search for a club or use our matching quiz | Location (city or ZIP), the player's age group, level, gender category, budget and preferences. |
| Contact a club or request a private coach | Your name, email address, phone number (optional), your message, and the details of what you are looking for. |
| Create a coach account | Name, email, password (stored hashed), phone, photo, coaching experience, licenses and certifications, answers to our safety and background questions, services, prices, training locations and availability. |
| Use the coach tools (coach CRM) | Information a coach enters about their clients: player first name, age or age group, the parent's name and email, session dates, session notes, and payment records the coach chooses to track. |
| Upload a training video (coaches) | The video clip and the AI-generated review of it. See section 3. |
| Use a team page or family area | Team schedules, results, photos and videos that the team's coach or manager publishes, and the shared family password. Some team content may show players. |
| Subscribe to our newsletter | Your email address and the state or club you are interested in. |
| Email or message us | Whatever you choose to include. |
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit, recorded in server logs.
- Cookies: we use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and browser storage to remember your search between pages. We use them to make the Service work, not for advertising. Embedded YouTube videos on team pages may set Google cookies when you play them (see section 6).
- Approximate location: derived from the city or ZIP you type, so we can show nearby clubs and coaches. We do not collect your device's precise GPS location.
Information from other sources
- Club listings are compiled from publicly available sources such as club websites and state soccer association directories. Clubs can ask us to correct or remove their listing.
- Connected devices: if a family chooses to connect a player-tracking device (such as Footbar) to SoccerPath, we receive the performance data that the family authorizes.
3. Children and young players
Youth soccer is about children, so we treat their information with extra care.
- Who the Service is for. SoccerPath accounts are for adults: parents, guardians, coaches and club staff. Players aged 13 to 17 may contact a club or coach about themselves. Children under 13 must not create an account or send us their information. If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13, we delete it.
- Information about children comes from adults. Information about a player (first name, age, session notes, team content) is entered by the player's parent, coach or team manager, not by the child.
- Training videos. Before uploading a clip that shows a player, a coach must confirm that they have the consent of the player's parent or guardian. Clips are limited to 95 seconds. The original upload is deleted after processing. Clips and their reviews are automatically deleted after 30 days. A clip is shared with a parent only when the coach chooses to send it, through a private link that is not indexed by search engines.
- Team family areas are password-protected and are not indexed by search engines. The team's coach or manager decides what is published there. Game and practice films on team pages are hosted on YouTube, not on SoccerPath, and are embedded in the page (see section 6).
- Parents' rights. A parent or guardian can ask us to review or delete their child's information, or to stop any further use of it, by writing to hello@soccerpath.us. We will verify that you are the parent or guardian before acting.
4. How we use information
- To show clubs and coaches that match your search, and to deliver your request to the club or coach you chose.
- To run coach accounts: profiles, client lists, sessions, calendar invitations, reminders and recaps.
- To send emails about your request, your account or your bookings (for example, session confirmations, changes and 24-hour reminders).
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
- To follow up after a request, for example to ask whether the club got back to you.
- To keep the Service safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and verify the information coaches provide.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
- To comply with the law.
5. AI features
Some coach tools use artificial intelligence to draft training sessions, write post-session recaps for parents, and review training videos. These features run on Amazon Bedrock, part of Amazon Web Services, our hosting provider.
- We send the model only the information needed for the task: for example, the coach's session notes, or a reduced, silent version of the clip.
- Amazon Bedrock does not use these inputs to train its models.
- Video reviews only describe what is visible in the play. They are instructed never to comment on a child's body, appearance or identity.
- AI output is a draft. The coach reviews and edits it before anything is sent to a parent.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only as follows:
- With the club or coach you contact. Delivering your request is the purpose of the Service, so the club or coach receives your name, contact details and message. Once they have it, their own privacy practices apply.
- With parents, when a coach chooses to. Session notifications, recaps and shared clips go to the parent email the coach entered.
- With service providers who process information on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, database, file storage and AI processing.
- Google: maps and place search, and our email service.
- Brevo: newsletter delivery.
- Stripe: payment links, if a coach uses them to get paid. SoccerPath does not see or store card numbers.
- YouTube videos on team pages. Team films are hosted on YouTube and shown in the page with YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed. When you play one, Google may receive your IP address and set cookies on your device, under Google's Privacy Policy. SoccerPath does not receive your YouTube activity.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the safety of players, users or the public.
- In a business transfer. If Empire Soccer Inc is merged, acquired or sells its assets, information may transfer to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.
7. How long we keep information
- Training videos and their reviews: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- Account information: for as long as the account is open. Deleting your account from your settings removes it immediately. Deletion requests sent by form or email are completed within 30 days. We keep only records the law requires.
- Requests to clubs and coaches: up to 24 months, so we can follow up and measure whether families found a place. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
- Server logs: up to 12 months.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls on our database and servers, and expiring private links for shared videos. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you newsletters or follow-up emails.
Email hello@soccerpath.us with your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we reply within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Clubs listed on SoccerPath can ask us to correct or remove their listing at the same address.
10. Deleting your account and data
From your account (website or app)
- Parents: open your profile page and choose "Delete my account" at the bottom.
- Coaches: open the My Profile tab of your coach dashboard and choose "Delete my account" at the bottom.
We show you what will be deleted and ask you to type DELETE to confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and you are signed out on every device.
- Deleting a parent account removes your account, your requests to clubs and coaches, and your search history. Records that a coach keeps about their own clients are not removed automatically. To have your child's information removed from a coach's records, see section 3.
- Deleting a coach account removes your profile and coach card, your client records, sessions, packages and training videos. Requests that parents sent you remain in those parents' own accounts, no longer linked to you.
We keep a record that an account was deleted, with no personal information in it, so we can show we honored the request.
Without signing in
If you cannot sign in, or never created an account but sent us a request, use our account deletion request form or email hello@soccerpath.us with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm that the request comes from the owner of the email address, then delete the data within 30 days.
11. The mobile app
The SoccerPath app gives you the same Service as soccerpath.us, and this policy applies to it in the same way. The app:
- uses your camera or photo library only when you choose to record or pick a training video to upload, and never accesses your contacts or precise location;
- sends push notifications only if you allow them, and you can turn them off in your device settings;
- does not contain third-party advertising or advertising trackers, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites;
- contains no in-app purchases.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will notify you by email or in the Service before it takes effect.
